Original paintings by Johanna Freudenberg

I was born in New York, and initially came to London as part of my university course, to study sculpture at St. Martin’s School of Art.

I have since lived and worked in Hampstead and then Kilburn, as a painter, garden designer and art teacher.

I have exhibited at the Tricycle Theatre Gallery, the Not Gallery, the Dental Surgery in the Corn Exchange, the Queen Street Gallery in Emsworth, Hampshire, and the New End Gallery in Hampstead. I also regularly exhibit as part of open gardens and studios schemes in London and Sussex.

The next exhibition will run from June 21st to July 20th 2011, at the Volksbank Weinheim in Germany. The show will include works of mine, my eldest sister Cathy Traykovski, and my father, Albrecht Freudenberg, who was born in Weinheim in 1913.
